Deep South

If you know me, you know I would rather take the picture than being in it. I have a good eye and picked up the love for photography at a young age from my mom. The first film camera she got me, I took pictures of all of my 6th grade friends when I could. Now I’m so in love with it, I want my career centered around it. It took years to find the perfect name for my company since I wanted it to be meaningful. Being a Mississippi girl, friends from Northern states always tell me, “oh you live in the real south, the Deep South.” My initials of my business is DSP. My uncle Don, my grandpa’s nickname Shuther, and my god-brother Dalton’s last name Proctor... three of the most important men in my life that left far too early. I aim to run my business based off of the hardworking, selfless, and determination that I learned from them. Thank you for choosing Deep South to capture the moments that mean the most to you.
